Forum Ideas & Suggestions: Order channels by newest video

Where do you want it? On the video overview (usually displayed on the front page), in the channel list (usually ends up in the sidebar), or on both?

It's actually pretty easy to implement; but I'm unsure if it's a good pattern -- if it's actually something which will be used in practise? The problem is that the channels will shuffle around on the list, making it harder to locate a specific channel for returning users (Why isn't the channel where it usually is?)

If you want to down-play the existence of channels, you can eliminate the grouping fully -- and simply replace the Overview (grouped) block with a Newest Videos block. You design can be reused, making this a easy switch.
