Upload video using .NET library
Posted by Vyacheslav Boyko on

Hello,

I am trying to upload a file using next code:

IPhotoService photoService = new PhotoService(serviceProvider);
int? videoId = photoService.Upload(fileName, fileContentType, fileStream);

But I get videoId null. What I am doing wrong?
I see there are a lot of overloads, maybe I have to use some of them instead, but I am not sure where I should get userId for example.
Please give some working sample how video could be uploaded.

Just for info, I use instance of APIProvider with access token specified (five parameters constructor), and I created privileged account first.

Hi,

This issue has been resolved per e-mail, but just to clarify to other users, I'll post the solution here.

The filename argument currently only supports relative filenames (ie. "mymovie.mpg") and not absolute filenames ("C:\Windows\Temp\mymovie.mpg"). We will rectify this in the next release.
